Hi! I'm Rishika, an Indian-American creator in my mid-20s. I’ve always known who I am and who I want to be. But like many children raised by parents whose own youth was littered with adversity, comfort became an intoxicating anchor stitched into my upbringing. For a while, I suppressed my dreams, and allowed myself to believe that they were reserved for a select few. Creativity, however, is resilient, and storytelling holds ownership over my very being. Through my mastery of storytelling, I’ve collaborated on brand development, production, and content writing to celebrate people and culture whose stories we refuse to erase from history. I have evolved audiences into communities and platformed creatives who champion the elevation of inclusive storytelling. This is my purpose, my reason to be. My truth to nurture and preserve. There is a storyteller, and with it, a world of stories within me.
